Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a clean driving record, and must be comfortable with small amounts of administrative work.
Charter Bus Driver's are responsible for transporting clients to/from destinations aboard charter buses safely.
You are the client's point of reference throughout the trips so you must have good people skills.
Must be able to go on multi-day assignment's (5 plus days at a time).
Must be comfortable driving long distances.
Responsibilities:
Drive a safely manner Inspect bus prior to trips to ensure safe operation and general functionality of equipment Maintain paperwork and ELD logs Fuel bus when needed and perform small task such as adding fluids and other minor mechanical task when needed Be patient with passengers.
Be able to respond to unusual situations.
Keep customers safe.
Keep buses clean.
Maintain communication with office Follow protocol and able to maintain and manage the situation in the event of a mechanical breakdown and/or accident.
Have experience driving a large vehicle.
Requirements:
Must currently hold a Class B or A CDL with a passenger endorsement 2 years Commercial Driving License Experience required High School Diploma Must be able to read, write and comprehend English Must be well groomed and maintain proper hygiene Must be able to go on trips that may range from 1-7 days Must be a US citizen or green card holder Must have reliable transportation to/from office/yard in Wadesboro NC Must pass background and urine drug testing screening Pay is $240 per day.
